OUR TEAM

At Sense of Soul Psychology, we believe meaningful change begins with feeling safe, supported, and genuinely understood. Our psychologists offer thoughtful, evidence-based care, creating a space where you can explore your experiences at your own pace.

Our clinicians are highly trained and registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA), delivering compassionate, evidence-based support informed by current research. We are committed to providing care that is both clinically grounded and deeply attentive to the individual.

We place strong value on the therapeutic relationship, recognising it as an essential part of the process. You are encouraged to take the time to explore the clinicians approach and areas of interest to find the right fit for you.

Founder & Clinical Psychologist

Benita Rullo

I am a Clinical Psychologist who is passionate about supporting people through a warm, holistic, and empowering lens. My work centres on creating calm, non-judgemental, and collaborative spaces where people feel safe, seen, and heard.

I've always felt quite strongly about challenging the traditional view that psychology has to feel overly clinical or intimidating. While my work is grounded in evidence-based practice, I also believe that genuine human connection is an important part of the therapeutic process. I pride myself on being an authentic, warm, and relatable psychologist, and aim to create a space where people feel comfortable showing up exactly as they are.

I am passionate and experienced in supporting anxiety, autism, ADHD, trauma, attachment difficulties, people pleasing, burnout, perfectionism, self-worth, relationship and friendship conflict, sleep difficulties, depression, stress and emotional wellbeing. I also offer a neuroaffirming lens and have extensive experience supporting neurodivergent individuals, particularly those with internalised and high-masking presentations that may have previously been overlooked or misunderstood.

While my training, clinical experience, and ongoing learning form the foundation of my work, I also recognise that some of life's most valuable lessons come from being human. This understanding has shaped the way I connect with people and continues to influence the compassion, empathy, and authenticity I bring into the therapy room. Above all, my goal is to help people feel understood, supported, and empowered to create meaningful change in their lives.
