At Sense of Soul Psychology, our intention is to combine modern, evidence-based psychological care with an environment that fosters emotional safety, warmth and authentic human connection.

Sense of Soul was created from a desire to challenge the traditional perception that therapy has to feel overly clinical, formal, or intimidating. While professionalism and evidence-based practice remain at the heart of our work, we also believe that meaningful therapeutic change happens when people feel safe, comfortable, and truly understood.

We recognise that reaching out for support can feel vulnerable. That's why every aspect of the practice has been intentionally designed to create an environment that feels welcoming, calming, and supportive from the moment you arrive. From pausing at the tea station to select a herbal tea, to wrapping up in a blanket, using fidgets, or settling into a thoughtfully designed space, every detail has been chosen with comfort and emotional safety in mind.

Inspired by a love of beautiful spaces and intentional design, our practice incorporates soft lighting, natural textures, calming colours, greenery, and thoughtful details that create a sense of warmth and comfort. Drawing subtle inspiration from the relaxed feeling of a European retreat, the space was designed to help people feel good about prioritising their mental and emotional wellbeing.

At its heart, Sense of Soul Psychology is more than a therapy room. It's a space where you can put down what you've been carrying, and know that you don't have to navigate life's challenges alone.

Our Services

At Sense of Soul Psychology, our services are grounded in safety, understanding, and respect for your lived experience. From individual therapy to comprehensive assessments, our approach is collaborative, neurodiversity-affirming, and designed to help you feel seen, informed, and supported.

  • We offer individual therapy for children (aged 10+), teenagers, adults, and parents through 50-minute sessions grounded in evidence-based practice and genuine human connection.

    We are passionate about challenging the idea that psychology has to feel clinical, formal, or intimidating. As warm and relatable psychologists, we strive to create a space where you feel comfortable, understood, and accepted exactly as you are.

    Our therapy approach is trauma-informed, affirming, and collaborative. Therapy is not about fixing you, it's about understanding you. Together, we'll work together to better understand your experiences, overcome challenges, and create meaningful change.

  • We offer neurodiversity-affirming Autism and ADHD assessments with a Clinical Psychologist. Our assessments are thoughtfully designed for individuals who may present with internalised, subtle, or high-masking traits that have previously been overlooked.

    We aim to provide a supportive, collaborative, and respectful process that honours your unique experiences and lived perspective. We also recognise that seeking answers can feel vulnerable, and we strive to create a space where you feel understood and supported throughout the journey.

  • Support should feel accessible, wherever you are. we offer secure Telehealth sessions for clients across South Australia and Australia, allowing you to access therapy from the comfort and privacy of your own space. Whether you choose Telehealth for convenience, comfort, health reasons, or location, our commitment to providing warm, genuine, and effective support remains the same. Sessions are available via secure video or phone and are delivered through confidential platforms.

    Research shows that Telehealth can be just as effective as in-person therapy, providing a meaningful space for connection, reflection, and growth.
